Seis homens foram presos e dois adolescentes apreendidos após agredirem uma capivara na madrugada deste sábado (21), na região do Quebra-Coco, no bairro Jardim Guanabara, na Ilha do Governador, Zona Norte do Rio. O grupo foi flagrado por câmeras de segurança cercando o animal e atacando com pedaços de madeira. A capivara foi resgatada e encaminhada para atendimento veterinário, enquanto os suspeitos foram identificados pela polícia e autuados por maus-tratos a animal, além de outros crimes relacionados.
