A GOL Linhas Aéreas iniciou a venda de passagens para um novo voo direto entre o Aeroporto Internacional Tom Jobim (Galeão), na Ilha do Governador, e o Aeroporto Humberto Delgado, em Lisboa (Portugal). A rota começa em 16 de setembro de 2026, com quatro voos semanais de ida e volta.
A iniciativa faz parte da estratégia da empresa de transformar o Galeão em um hub internacional e expandir sua atuação em voos de longa distância, incluindo novas rotas como Nova York (já anunciada) e possíveis destinos como Paris e Orlando.
Os voos terão ajustes de horários ao longo do tempo, mas manterão a frequência semanal. A operação será feita com aeronaves Airbus A330, marcando a entrada da GOL no segmento intercontinental.
Como diferencial, a companhia lança a classe executiva INSIGNIA by GOL, com mais conforto e serviços premium. A nova rota é vista como estratégica para competir no mercado entre Brasil e Portugal.
Além de Lisboa, a GOL Linhas Aéreas já anunciou recentemente outras rotas internacionais dentro de seu plano de expansão, como o voo direto para Nova York, com início previsto para julho deste ano, além de destinos como Paris e Orlando, que também estão nos planos da companhia para os próximos anos.
