Dia 2 de setembro será ponto facultativo para os servidores do Rio com ‘Dia do Reencontro’
Conforme o decreto, a data será ponto facultativo no serviço público municipal, exceto nos órgãos cujas atividades não podem ser paralisadas. O Dia do Reencontro coincidirá com a abertura do festival Rock in Rio. Segundo a prefeitura, trata-se do reinício da realização de grandes eventos na cidade.
As primeiras medidas de flexibilização, como liberação parcial dos estádios e das casas de shows, foram anunciadas em julho do ano passado. Elas foram programadas para começar a vigorar em 2 de setembro do ano passado, quando também teria início um festival com atividades culturais, artísticas e gastronômicas em espaços abertos.
Na época, o prefeito também apresentou a proposta de criação de um feriado. A ideia foi alvo de críticas e gerou dúvidas a respeito da sua data. Em meio à repercussão, Paes voltou ao assunto no dia seguinte. “O feriado é em 2022, e não em 2021”, esclareceu nas redes sociais. Ele também reagiu aos questionamentos sobre o festival que pretendia realizar. “Não teremos grande evento nenhum em setembro”, acrescentou.
